We replaced the old deck. The existing timber posts had rotted through completely.
The client wanted to use galvanised steel posts, concreted into the ground, ensuring the longevity of this deck.
The riverside garden is prone to flooding from the rising river Thames, so we concreted a raised pad allowing them to have a jacuzzi safely above the height of the flood level.
They chose to use Trex transcend island mist decking, with Trex lighting on the staircase and in between the stainless steel posts, shining up on the glass balustrade.
We then built a timber screen to hide the areas underneath.
