John gave a quote which was a reasonable price, then started work within two weeks. There was a few issues involving the pond and wisteria hanging from the main deck supports. but John overcome these in a very professional manner. Nothing was to much effort. The workmanship is excellent.

We had a Millboard Decking patio installed in 2015 with a timber subframe. Due to a manufacturing defect with the boards these were replaced in 2017 when apparently the timber subframe was still OK. However in 2022 parts of the decking started to subside, due to the timber subframe rotting.
After contacting Millboard they suggested we contact Custom curve decking. John Michael visited the site very quickly, and confirmed rotting of the subframe. He suggested that due to poor air circulation having hastened the rotting we replace the timber with a Plas-Pro (recycled plastic) subframe, and we decided to replace the boards at the same time (a few were stained from some previously overhanging trees).
All materials were ordered and John and Alex carried out the installation over several days. This was very work-intensive with the subframe assembly requiring pre-drilling. Both worked extremely hard to produce an excellent installation with which we are extremely pleased, especially knowing that the subframe won't rot. We would thoroughly recommend this company who have done a superb job remedying a very unsatisfactory situation.

Following our Consultation with John we decided to take up Custom Curved Decking to make us the perfect deck. From start to finish everything was explained by John and Alex,
Throughout they were both professional and attentive to detail on what and how the process of building our deck would happen and were only to happy to go over things, nothing was ever to much for them.
Over three days we saw our decking base rise from the ground into a solid well built base with a very special deck to die for on top. We will be forever grateful for John and Alex's expertise.
I have to add that John left the site very clean and tidy every day before leaving for home and we would highly recommend John's work, his experience shines through.

Faced with another summer on our old, rotting wooden deck, we decided to explore our options for composite decking. John’s online portfolio immediately grabbed our attention and we reached out for more information. John was very responsive and dropped by multiple times to share his insights; he assessed the space and our needs - a large, raised deck over a sloping garden - and came up with a stunning design. We were given many options for materials and colours, and in the end had no hesitation going for John’s recommendation - a creative, modern design featuring multi-width boards, lighting, staircases and screen.
Over the next few weeks, the old decking was quickly removed and the new deck put in its place. John and his team have a great eye for detail, and as the project went on talked us through every step of the process and suggested further areas to improve, including the addition of a side fence for added privacy. We now have a gorgeous (and rock solid!) outside space that we can enjoy for many years to come. The only disappointment is that eventually we’re going to have to cover the deck with furniture… We’d highly recommend John and his team for any decking project!
