This was a deck replacement of an existing rotten timber deck.
We decided on moving the staircase to one end rather then leaving it mid-deck, as this intruded to far into the garden and reduced useable space on the deck.
This was our first time fitting Voyage, a mineral based deck board from America. It’s available in two widths 140 mm and 235mm and in two colours. The light grey is Sierra and the light brown is Khaya.
We used both sized boards in both colours, creating some character and defining areas of the deck and steps. The black fortitude rails and Trex lighting really did finish the deck off.
