This large raised deck was a replacement of an existing softwood deck. Due to planning requirements, it needed to be the same shape with privacy fencing both sides.
We decided to two-tone on this deck to define edges and steps. We used the Redux cashmere boards for the main colour, with a complimentary smoke picture frame. We also incorporated a herringbone design into the main decked area in front of the patio doors, creating some additional character and a focal point visible from inside the home.
We then used the low maintenance HD composite fencing from Composite Prime to create privacy from and for their neighbours.
The front and steps were secured using a stylish fortitude railing. We installed riser lights to the steps and some deck lights in the front, between the balustrade bays, creating soft lighting for evening use.
