The previous softwood deck was totally rotten, the ground floods easily and stays damp most of the winter.
We excavated quite a lot of ground to allow the higher deck to be above any ground water. We constructed this in UC4 timbers with composite posts.
The lower deck they wanted to be at ground level, so we dug even deeper and constructed this from composite lumber knowing it will never rot or decay.
We then laid Redux fawn coloured decking, as this was the most favoured colour of all the deck boards of shoe the client.
